Ms Minicozzi is a Consultant Colorectal and Peritoneal Surgeon at the Royal London Hospital and Clinical Reader at Queen Mary University of London. She leads colorectal cancer surgery and the Peritoneal Oncology service at Barts, with clinical and research expertise in advanced colorectal cancer treatments, including CRS & HIPEC, PIPAC, and organ preservation strategies. Internationally trained and widely published, she also represents Barts at the North East London Cancer Alliance.

Education
She completed her higher surgical training at the Verona University Hospital. Through her training, she successfully completed an International Colorectal Surgical Oncology Fellowship on Organ Preservation/Watch & Wait in rectal cancer (Sao Paolo, Brazil) and a second International Colorectal Fellowship in advanced and recurrent rectal cancer at the Karolinska Hospital (Stockholm, Sweden). In 2010, she was awarded a PhD for her work on multimodal imaging in colorectal cancer. In 2014, she became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
